Omicron and Delta names in the 1995 US gazetteer

Documentary source: the 1995 gazetteer’s Omicron Islands entry records a Greek-letter name used on a 1946 Argentine chart. The supporting Delta Island entry traces its Greek-letter name to a 1927 survey. These pre-pandemic geographic records do not establish pandemic planning.

The primary is a cropped text entry, not an island photograph or satellite map. Omicron Islands and Delta Island are distinct named features in the Melchior Islands.
