Catalog review date reported: 2026-10-28. This is inherited catalog metadata, not a new verification of the linked source.

An independent copy of Stanford’s The Antarctic Regions, showing early expedition routes and a large colored southern territory. The Library of Congress dates this copy only [19--]; the source bears a March 1922 receiving stamp. It matches the design of the British Library map catalogued [1921], but is not that physical sheet and its precise edition date is unconfirmed. The colored territory is historical cartography, not proof that its interior had been surveyed.
Edward Stanford Ltd, The Antarctic Regions, London [19--]. Library of Congress, Geography and Map Division, G 9800 19-- .E 3 TIL, LCCN 2002624039.
The independent scan is undated and does not establish a new date for the British Library’s catalogued [1921] item. Original physical segmentation, folds, manuscript marks and receiving stamp preserved. No exact-copy coverage claimed.
